Food & Stay
When you come to Sanskriti Yogpeeth, you're not just signing up for a yoga class—you’re entering a sacred space where ancient traditions are still honored and lived every day. Nestled in the peaceful foothills of the Himalayas, right by the holy Ganga, our ashram offers a chance to slow down, breathe deeper, and reconnect with yourself through a true yogic lifestyle.
At Life here flows with purpose and simplicity. Mornings begin with the sound of
bells and birds, leading into yoga practice, breathwork, meditation, chanting, and periods of
quiet reflection. Every moment is designed to nurture balance—between your body, mind, and soul.
Our ashram follows a traditional rhythm, deeply rooted in the Gurukul
system, where the student and teacher journey together in a space of trust and
growth. And being in Rishikesh—known as the Yoga Capital of the
World—adds its own magic. Surrounded by mountains and sacred energy, it’s a place
that naturally inspires transformation.
Here, food is part of your spiritual path. We lovingly prepare three sattvic (pure, balanced) vegetarian meals every day, using seasonal fruits, local vegetables, Ayurvedic herbs, and mindful intentions. Meals are light, energizing, and designed to support digestion, clarity, and your yoga practice. Herbal teas and detox drinks are also served to help keep your system in balance.
Our rooms—whether private or shared—are clean, quiet, and filled with natural light. You’ll find attached bathrooms, 24/7 hot water, basic amenities, and strong Wi-Fi. While we keep things simple, we make sure your stay is restful, nurturing, and rooted in a calm, supportive atmosphere.
If you're feeling called to go deeper, Sanskriti Yogpeeth also offers
internationally Yoga Teacher Training Courses (YTTC) in
India—right here in our Rishikesh ashram. Our programs (200-hour, 300-hour, and
500-hour YTTC) are taught by experienced, dedicated teachers and blend traditional knowledge
with modern understanding.
Whether you're beginning your teaching journey or continuing your studies, our training offers
the foundation and support you need to grow—on the mat and beyond.
Whether you're here for a short retreat, a full yoga teacher training course, or just a pause from daily life—the food, the peace, the practice, and the sacred space come together to give you something rare and lasting. Come live the yogic way at Sanskriti Yogpeeth in Rishikesh. It’s not just a place—it’s a feeling you carry long after you leave.
